Thread: How to configure Comodo Firewall for Ares p2p

  1. #1
    Hi Guys

I am currently testing the Comodo Firewall. It looks good so far.

I am sick of ZoneAlarms poor interface.

Does anyone know know how I can configure Comodo to accept downloads from my Ares p2p program ?

It will let me upload but not download.

    Regards

It's probably one of the settings in the "Predefined Firewall Policies"?

Check to see if when you start or update Ares that Comodo isn't blocking it as a "The Firewall has blocked # intrusion attempts so far"

I like Comodo too but think it was just "right click" on Utorrent in my case Digme1.

OOps after further reflection . Hey what happppen to Double posts thing? Have you tried to reinstall Ares? Reinstall the program and Comodo should set as default your D/L settings . It seemed soooo easy with utorrent 1.7.5 .

    Hi Peat Moss

I tried re-installing Ares and Comodo still does not let me down load files with Ares. I can upload tho.

I wish I could find a list of the software it was blocking with an option to allow it, liek in Zone Alarm.

So I think I will ditch Commodo.
