the 1960's cartoon never really caught my eye & this new movie addition seems to be on par with the same feel... in a better way. movie looks pretty damn trippy actually. time to bust out the chem lights and acid. from the creators of the matrix trilogy cumz the movie version of one of the longest running cartoons. this won't be a theatre watch for me, but i'll check it out on a good dvd rip or an r5.

    Trailer.

i loved the colors. VERY, VERY, VERY colorful! imma have to watch this again when i get a DVD copy & talk to "uncle cid". very trippy film. i can see why everyone hated this film. as pointed out i guess i tend to rate films higher than the avg viewer, but i guess i do that if the film amuses and/or entertains me. i don't go into films telling myself, "ha, that would never happen". well, of course not... it's the movies.

having said that the acting is off beat and slightly immature. young children will probably dig this. guess i'm still kid @ heart. very colorful as i've previously pointed out. i liked the futuristic race style that they've brought to the table. all-in-all i wasn't disappointed, but i did get kinda bored mid film. after mid film thru-out til the end it does pick up. go go gadget.. oops, wrong show.

good film for the drug induced. 6/10

I didn't really like it. It was really flashy, but there wasn't a lot of plot.

You were expecting a summer blockbuster based on a Japanese cartoon to have a strong plot?
