The copy of NOD32 I have on my computer (version 2.70) has stopped updating on all 3 computers I have it on, so I can only assume that eset has finally caught on to the massive amount of pirated copies out there.

I think I'm going to give kaspersky a go, because of its reputation. I was also told it dosnt take up much more memory than nod32. Just wondering, whats the best version to get?

    Thanks.

if you're thinking it would be much easier with kaspersky keys you might want to read around in the forum

that said, imho kaspersky is still ahead nod. if i was you i would just grab newest kis version with working keys. you might want to turn all the bells and whistles and leave firewall and maybe file antivirus on, and scan suspicious files manually.

You guys give up too easy ! Found Eset Smart Security 3.0.621.0 with patch and a nodlogin tool a couple of days ago and works fine so far . I deleted my old 3 x as it was blacklisted too .

    Good for now : Update 2786 (20080112)

I tease as I get frustrated too , my roommate (redhead68) and I were talking about just buying a license for two computers and were trying to decide on Nod or KIS . I thought thats just wrong paying for software .......

On a side note I'm using the full suite and noticed my upload speed tripled from what ZA and Outpost was allowing , you know like from 7.0 kbs to 35 or 45 .0 kbs . Makes my ratio so much faster to get and the bonus points just keep racking up .

Hmm see our old friend is back up . hXXp://eset.com.sapo.pt/

Maybe if you don't set the firewall rules right , I know I had problems setting it up . Search 100%'s posts I know he found the answer .
