VB- What Is The Rumoured Db Script

I have seen mention of such a script and I wondered if anyone knew if it exists, what it is, why it was run etc? I know that scripts have to be run on regular intervals to maintain integrity, clean up etc but it seems that this particular script causes a lot of problems such as users getting thrown out, duplicate+ posts appearing etc. Does the script have to be run so often, would it be worth warning users about it and in so hopefully cutting down on the problems it causes? Can anyone shed any light on this please/

No i don&#39;t know what the server is doing every hour ( i think it&#39;s every hour, just the clock of the server is two minutes wrong ). Maybe Jon knows this .. but where is he ?

Perhaps the server is updating access statistics every hour ..
