    HI I am newbie and started learning to code with c#
    so which rels is the better to install microsoft visual studio 2005 or 2008?

    i would say newer is better, better to learn in most recent environment and .net versions. that said i haven't installed 2008 yet, it probably has heaps of bugs, so you might as well ignore my opinion

    I don't see any reason to not use 2008. Then again, I don't code every day or even do anything really in-depth, so ymmv.

    go with visual studio 2005, it is best.

    newer 2008 = older 2005 features+ New features

    go with 2005 .. I currently use it in a lot of my projects .. you would get various help/guides for bugs in VS2005 which u wont be able to get for 2008 ..
    Also it depends on what kinda environment u r planning to work on . RDBMS , OLE DB etc
