    Hey I'd be interested to know the actual difference between these two... (besides the potential security flaw that's apparently not an issue on either of them now)

    To my eyes both are all the same.
    If you wanna know whats the difference check this out http://download.utorrent.com/1.7.6/utorrent-1.7.6.txt

    But since most trackers are banning the older versions, I am gonna go for the latest stable release.
