Thread: upload speed patch?

    my up speed is around 48...
    i have comcast cable w/ 512max up.
    is there a patch i can use to get more connections and get my speeds up?

    system is windows media center xp..sp2

    It depends are you connectible and have you tried the TCP/IP patch that allows more connections to be made at once?

    Some more info like what client you are using and any other thing you might feel that is relevant might allow us to help you better.

    He might already be maxing out, difference in utorrent kb/s & kbps.

    48 kb/s is about right for a 512 ADSL line.

    Your speedtests say around 400kilobits/s, so that's around 50kilobytes/s

    Looks right to me...

    People are always getting mixed up between Kb/s and KB/s
    8 Kb/s = 1KB/s So 512Kb/s = 64KB/s and you are uploading at 48 so yeah that should be about right.
    Its not often you get the full the speed as what they advertise

    that's the patch i was reading about..but read positive and negative stuff..
    i am connectable..
    speed is about 48 kB/s

    ok..so i'm probably maxing.

    You should be able to dwnl at about 800kb/s and upload at 60 kb/s like everyone said above in utorrent.

    i've never hit these kinds of numbers...and i've searched for other post about this but can't find anything
