or someone trying to be smart

The extension protocol crash bug affects 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, and 1.8 builds releases to date. No update will be released for pre 1.7 builds. Upgrading is strongly recommended.

    except 177

Fix: (potential) remote crash bug with extension protocol (affects all 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, and 1.8 builds released to date)

1.6.1 is vulnerable why the hell are people keeping it around?

My understanding is it doesn't effect 1.6.1 as sites that once had it banned have now started unbanning it.

This was posted one 1 site.
uTorrent 1.6.1 is immune and ok to use

    I had 1.6.1 (build 490) and i updated it into 1.7.6 (when sites banned 1.6.1 etc.) . . .
then i saw sites are unbanning version 1.6.1 so i installed it again (i have the installation file) i had and have no problems with that version it seems to work just fine ...
now i see that 1.7.7 version . . . people are getting mad by the changes ~
i think im fine as long as sites wont ban 1.6.1 and as long it stays sane at my pc and wont do any stunts

Very true. Told you all utorrent 1.7.6 was buggy. I was getting crash dump errors twice a day. Never with 1.6.1 though. But i did upgrade to 1.7.7.

    Excuse Me?
    Didn't Think So!
