I know that you have a better chance of getting struck by lightning than being caught by the RIAA.

However just because the odds of getting struck by lightning are very small doenst mean that i play golf in the middle of a T-Storm.

What can I do to keep the odds of the Boys and Girls at RIAA from finding me as small as possible? In addition to enabling all the little boxs in the options menu.

Be sensible about what you upload. I really don't think "the hulk" is worth the hassle. (I don't think it's worth any thing.)

Forget about the latest mp3's. There are seeders in places where they can do more good than you without the bullshit from riaa scans.

If you insist on sharing nothing but the latest movies and music, then expect to become a target. There are enough other files and file types that you can share that will be just as appreciated.

    Just share.

    Well stated Balamm.

I could only add keep your hostile IP's updated.

Also there will be some nice things comming...
Auto hostile IP updates for multiple applications
    Additional sources for hostile IP's

    Many Thanks

I still want to know why..oh..the Belgium Federal Government is on the list of "bad" ranges. I'm not picking on Belgium at all, it was just one of the many absurd examples.

things are quiet until hitler decides he'd like to invade russia
    so, he does
the russians are like "OMG WTF D00DZ, STOP TKING"
and the germans are still like "omg ph34r n00bz"
the russians fall back, all the way to moscow
and then they all begin h4xing, which brings on the russian winter
the germans are like "wtf, h4x"

They ARE using some dynamic ip address ranges, but those are still stuck in a range of the ISP they're on.

Most business lines from big ISPs are on fixed ip addresses and the dynamic ips don't offer the bandwidth they'd probably want.

Also, if they go with their own T-1's/T-3's/OC-3's/etc, they almost certainly get a small to medium ip range which they can use any ip within (thus TECHNICALLY dynamic) but the overall range is fixed.

It's BayTSP, OverPeer, Retspan, Media Defender, MediaProtector, and companies like that which should be banned off p2p networks by our blockers... and they have fixed (but many unknown) web blocks.

The more activity they have, the easier it is for those monitoring ip connections to find them!
