You should be getting around 80-90 on kazaa.

Have 6 downloads on at the moment and most of the time it just says connecting......past speeds have been 0.6 Kbs.

It could be the files i am downloading (T3 and Pirates of the Caribean) but I also tried popular films and the speed is still s**t.

Last night I uninstalled K-Lite 2.4.1 and went back to 2.1.0, but it hasn't helped.

Have tried all the tips but still not getting those speeds. Decided to rebuild my PC and reinstall k-lite (maybe that will help&#33.

I don't think rebuilding the PC is the key.

oh you never know, it could be a mouse or something that's set up home next to the cpu, so rebuilding is worth a shot.


seriously though, if you are on NTL, you could try unplugging the modem for about 30 seconds (from the mains supply with the pc switched off) and then plugging it back in and booting up. The only problem i think with this is that it'd only help if you were experiencing bad download speeds across the board, rather than just on kazaa.

Rebuilt my PC and last night was downloading Pirates of the Caribean at 80kbs.

Will test it fully when I get back from work.
