    when i installed yahoo messenger it also installed yahoo mail and put the shortcut on my desktop. when i clicked on it asked me if i wanted to make yahoo my default mail client. what does that mean? i clicked yes, but i dont even have an account. what exactly did i do by saying yes?

    It sounds to me like your mail will go to yahoo and not i.e.outlook. But that doesnt quite sound right either, i dont know, ill shut up now

    Try opening the program you ususally use to get your mail. A pop-up should come up saying that it's not the default client, if you would like it to be. Click Yes and then that should work.
