I've said it before and I will say it again. Use ProxyPal and you can switch the proxy on/of at the press of a button in your toolbar.
It's also freeware, hope that doesn't offend anyone.

yeee haaaa I just got my first taste of proxy and i am happy but a little curious. Surfing the net is the same except when I google, it redirects to the google site for the country the proxy is in (eastern europe) so therefore it looks diff. Also this site looks slightly diff. Who cares I did a free online netscan and it didn't show my computer name or ip so i say GREEAATTTT!!!!
