i accidentally gave thumbs down when my intention was actually to give it a thumbs up. Is there a way to change it? If yes, how? If not, could we have such feature as well plz?

Squirrel, this is much more like a democracy. For people new to torrents, software, or file sharing in general, this idea will act as a tool to help those out-of-the-know gain a greater knowledge from veteran users.

Again, this shouldn't be the case. This isn't a dictatorship, as one person doesn't decide which answers are voted down and which ones aren't. WE do. Therefore, the people with the most accurate answers are likely to get their posts voted up more often.

This isn't Yahoo Answer (YA!) where there is 'right' or 'wrong' answer.

True, there aren't right or wrong answers. But more knowledgeable people are likely to have their comments voted up due to the time they take to post and answers they choose to give. This vote up/down system should eliminate most spam, which I think (correct me if I'm wrong) is it's primary goal.

I can't say that I agree with the rest of your arguments either, but hey - we're all entitled to our own opinion.

I second that. I accidently gave myself two thumbs down instead of annulling the 1 thumb down I had on one of my posts
