The cleverest option (which I just though up) would be to skive all day and if you're not caught out (and thus have to use the lunch excuse) then leave work hour/half-hour early saying you can because you skipped lunch. :sage:

Or you could not go home early and save up for a five hour lunchbreak for Friday afternoon.
