Hello everyone I hope all is well. I have posted this thread as a last-resort; reaching out to my friends on the internet, anyways I'll get on with the story.
It was September and I had just started school. I needed some extra money for school expenses so I decided to sell my laptop. I put an ad up on Craig's list and got a few requests. Just so happens I picked the person who was going to not send me any money after I had already shipped it out of the country. I have tried all I can to get the laptop back, but cannot. The laptop was worth $1000 plus the $100 or so dollars it cost to ship it. I have been behind on bills and expenses ever since. For those of you who might command me to "Get a job", I work a full time job repairing computers for the Astronomy department for not very much money.
I am extremely embarrassed for having to ask on the file sharing talk forum, but it is the only forum where I have somewhat spent a great deal of time.
If anybody would be willing to donate anything via PayPal to me, I would be eternally grateful. You will be helping get a starving student get back on his feet. Thanks again. I will post the donate link at the bottom of this page. :] Even if I only get $10 total, that will still be a meal or a little bit of federal loan interest.

Shipped a $1000 (£132) PC out of the country without getting the money first and now can't afford to eat.
