these guys offer free ssl certs, though ff & ie complain about them being untrusted (read the forums). apparently the big boys dont like the idea of free ones

i got 2 certs one for a genuine address, and one for a random address from the phone book

good alternative to paying for one

I already read about that and I have to say that's really great news. BT community always have to be one step forward against ISPs like Comcast.
    Live long and prosper.

Nope, the general BT community always has to be standing behind anything Bram and his buddies say, even if it's horseshit

Ask any sysops how willing they would be to implement SSL on their sites.
Now try the same thing, but this time ask them how willing they would be to implement a custom RC4 encryption cipher into their trackers.

Edit: if you want to see how far behind the rest of the world BT.inc actually is, http://bittorrent.org/beps/bep_0012.html
They list announce-list (which allows multiple trackers) as a draft spec. Nothing they could do could stop everyone else using it, as it has been in standard use for a while now.

BT is so powerful and unstoppable all ISPS should just give up.
    Guess this country:
-Child porn is legal to possess.
-Home of lolicon & enjo kosai
-Subways are littered with "Warning: Perverts lurking" signs
-Has women only subway cars because of the high sexual assault rates
-Cartoon child porn is a $6 billion industry
-90% of child porn on the internet is from this country
-Ranked equally with Cambodia and Ethiopia for prostitution
