I think I read the first one years ago. The title seems familiar, at any rate.

things are quiet until hitler decides he'd like to invade russia
so, he does
the russians are like "OMG WTF D00DZ, STOP TKING"
and the germans are still like "omg ph34r n00bz"
the russians fall back, all the way to moscow
and then they all begin h4xing, which brings on the russian winter
the germans are like "wtf, h4x"

What?
Adrian Mole is an institutuon.
Sue Townsend encapsulated that 80's urban troglydite pefectly.
Doesn't anyone remember the serial?
Julie Walters as his mum.
Ian Dury's theme tune was genius enough.

Well, in the 80s i was too busy being born and learning how to walk/talk etc, so i didn't see the tv series!

IN the new book, i do like Glenn Botts.........but in the older one, i am quite fond of Bert too!
