    Has Martin O'Neill left it too late to buy any big names for Celtic.

    Or is he playing a cunning waiting game.

    He has the same strong squad which went to a European final.
    He has consistency and continuity, and money in the bank.

    Celtic's rivals Rangers have a significantly weakened squad (especially in defence)and a lot less disposable income.


    I'm not very worried

    rangers won the treble last year, Celtic won nothing.

    I believe that Rangers also posted a £19,000,000 trading loss, which if I'm not very much mistaken is the worst single year loss of any British Club, ever.

    Makes you think, doesn“t it.

    The old firm have a lot more than the rest of Scottish football though.

    I still have trouble understanding why most of Scotland appear to support one or the other of these 2 clubs, and not their local cities team...
