Has anybody seen this yet? What were you thoughts on this Anime CGI like movie, if you have? It's sorta similar to Vexille (If I even spelled that right).

Watched the first one yesterday. I dont like anime but I love scifi and mechas and whatnot. It was pretty great. Very well done, oh and I watched the english dubbed version.

Ah it was fantastic. I loved it. Reminded alot of the old anime cartoon version. It was surprisingly well done. But hey what did you expect? Legendary director John Woo directed it. Off to watch Vexille.

Just watched Ex Machina and I liked it. Awesome scifi movie, looks great on bluray.

I would watch vexille but no english audio so screw it.

Actually I was off to watch it, but it's in subtitles. Also I heard the story was kinda bland and the action sequences were limited. I'll wait for an english dubbed version.

directed by Shinji Aramaki & not John Woo. this was a VERY good film. lots of action, great story & come on... Brialeos FTW!!! afterall, this is APPLESEED! loved every minute of this work of art. cgi wasn't perfect so i give this one a 9/10.

also, looking for the dual language version of this if someone could tell me the name of the file it would be appreciated. i watched it in english dub and that hurt me.

    GREAT FILM! RECOMMENDED!

edit: disregard. i found the dual language... that is if anyone was gonna help anyway.

Personally I got the THORA 1080p BR release, the translation and timing (which is from the R1 dvd) sucked donkey balls. Video and audio is great as usual (a few video mishaps tho, nothing major). Can be found at the usual places I suppose.

New edited subs will be available soonish.
