I really can't stand watching non HD content, 720p all the way. Call me spoiled if you want, but I won't watch a DVD unless I'm really hard up.

^ Me too. I'll always wait for a 1080p release before watching a movie
i dont mind a semi low quality, as long as the entire screen is shown and volume is decent
I prefer XviD cause for me it's good quality at medium filesize. I can also play them back at my TV which I can't with x264.
My monitor's max is 1280*1024 so 720p is my best
However I think this thread should be in Movies & TV forum
BTW necromantic dunno if u read my last reply on the blu ray thread over there
I am more inclined to get 720p versions where possible at the moment. xvid dvdrips are fine quality for me, on a 15" laptop, but I don't like the way longer movies are split in 2.
XviD normally. R5/DVDSCR+ Never less. I prefer DVDRIP.
XVID because it's easy on my limited storage space
I can't watch movies on my monitor, the screen is too small. I use my Xbox 1 as my media center unit. If it could play HD content or HD rips then that's all I would watch but for now DVD and Xvid will do. I just can't wait till homebrew can be ran on the Xbox 360.
