just follow that guide i got one yesterday and if you follow that guide you will have a utorrent webui all installed in a few minutes if you need help contact me.
use winscp for put webui in the correct place.

I wouldn't start putting wine, vnc and all that crap on a poor 256mb ram box

That walkthrough very much still applies to the OVH seedbox, the distro is configured the same way, wine and a utorrent container aren't much of a system overhead if you wish to run the system this way or you can run rtorrent via the command line.

I'll do the walkthrough first, gives me an understanding of at least some aspects of learning some commands.
Once I have mastered that at least, then I can ask about ways of improving things
