I was wondering if any of you could point me to a good VPN provider? I can't use uTorrent, due to my college blocking EVERYTHING. I've tried HotSpot Shield, but it only allows 10 GBs a month.

Edit: Alright, how bout this: does anyone know of a good program that is similar in function to HotSpot Shield?

I would use TOR, but I can't set it up right...

are you talking about setting up a seedbox then VPN'ing into it from college ? They will still be watching the data flow if your using the college's intranet.

You could use a service like Relakks, SwissVPN or any other VPN provider.
But you could also use a seedbox, then for similar price you can also seed back more efficiently.

Both cost money, and I fear there is no way around that..

Btw, did you already try newest µTorrent with encryption enabled?

Oh and is there any DirectConnect ring on your college's network?

And maybe this is also interesting for your local network: WiPeer
sharing ad-hoc with others in the LAN

The college would monitor high data usage (vpn/seedbox) make sure they have a flexible policy.

I'm not sure about seedboxes, but all I really want to do is use my uTorrent. I'm not to smart when it comes to networks. I did try the encryption with uTorrent, but still no go. I'm not sure about the DirectConnect ring here on campus. Link capacity is decent, not sure what the official capacity is though...
