I run with xp pro corporate, and I usually try so much progs and tips, that I have to perform a clean os instalation every 3 or 4month. So I would like to know if it exists a way to save the written parts of my harddisk on cds, as I don't really want to save my whole disk(120gb).

i don't understand your question fully, but i think norton ghost may be what you're thinking about...

google search for it if you've never used/heard of it

ghost sounds like what you want

it takes an image of parts of your hard disc that you specify

then you could burn these to disc...

so are you saying that what you want is a program that will remember the settings after a fresh windows reinstall so that you don't actually need to go through the whole reinstall process again?

if so, i don't know if it's possible or not
