I read this short story years ago and I thought it would make a good movie. I'm such a fan of Stephen King books.
    The story creeped me out.

Following a violent thunderstorm, artist David Drayton and a small town community come under vicious attack from creatures prowling in a thick and unnatural mist. Local rumors point to an experiment called the 'The Arrowhead Project' conducted at a nearby top-secret military base, but questions as to the origins of the deadly vapor are secondary to the group's overall chances for survival. Retreating to a local supermarket, Drayton and the survivors must face-off against each other before taking a united stand against an enemy they cannot even see.

What the protagonist isn't a writer?

I read the story over 10 years ago, and thought it was alright. But they're going to have to really stretch it to make it into a +90min movie.

it is a good story but they'll probably mess it up like they do to all of Stephen King's work.

I bought the book yesterday and Stephen King rewrote it for the movie. The book now has 236 pages.
From what I have read, Mr King kept the original idea of the 1st book, just expanded on the characters, the military base and made a better ending.

I always find his movies strange and the endings are quite weird as well

To see the world in a grain of sand and heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand and eternity in an hour.

It's by the same director as Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile,if it's half as good as them it'll be excellent.

All spelling mistakes and grammatical errors in my post's are intentional.

There looks to be a lot of creepy crawlies in this one, and since I've always been a fan of Stephen King I'll be keeping my eye out for it.
