Hi! My firewall notifies me that someone online server is trying to access a program called lsass.exe on my computer. What is it? And is it better for me if I blocked that access?

Type the exact file name into google and you'll get all the info you need. I think black viper also covers some of these services and their uses.

im assuming u have xp running then
lsass.exe is a critical windows file process needed to run windows..i had an errror wif it once and couldnt get past the original windows boot screen, ended up having to reinstall windows
