    I wouldnt recomend using xp on a dedi.
    Plus ud be hard to find a company offering it,only option if u really want xp on ur dedi is finding a company who lets u install ur own os,but that will be hard to find.
    Windows2003 is much better...xp will give u probs n use way to many resources.

    Pretty much all of them offer windows as an option but linux is pretty easy to use as long as you stick to the guide.

    from Scenetorrents
    * Vectoral
    - Awesome speeds & great servers.
    - Offers support via online chat. Email inquiries are answered quickly but could sometimes take within days.

    * LeaseWeb
    - Great to awesome speeds and they also have Gigabit servers.
    - No online chat but email inquiries are answered fairly quickly.

    * SoftLayer
    - Great speeds (including Gbit servers) and awesome servers!
    - Offers support via online chat and emails are answered almost within an hour (or less) during business hours.

    * LayeredTech
    - Awesome speeds including 1Gbit connection on their DataBank datacenter.
    - No online chat but answers emails fairly quickly.

    * FDC or PixelFX (they share the same DC)
    - OK speeds with "unmetered" bandwidth.
    - Online chat for PixelFX & instant messangers for FDC. Support via emails can take anywhere from 10mins-24hrs.

    * NetDirekt
    - OK to good speeds.
    - Everything's in German (though it's quite easy to understand) and emails are answered mostly within 24hrs.

    If you're a little short on cash, you could get one of these cheap servers (just remember this - "you get what you pay for"):

    * Hosting-IE
    - OK speeds with FREE OS (including Windows) and "unmetered" bandwidth.
    - No online chat and email inquiries can take anywhere from 1hr-1wk.

    * CoreNetworks
    - OK to good speeds and servers.
    - No online chat but emails are answered quickly during (US) business hours.

    * DediBox International
    - Poor to OK speeds (great speeds if you're seeding on ScT). However, they do offer "unmetered" bandwidth.
    - Has online chat (which is almost always offline) and support via email can take anywhere from 24hrs-forever.

    * BestOfData
    - Same as DediBox International.
    - Better customer support than DediBox.

    * Giga-International
    - OK speeds with "unmetered" bandwidth.
    - No online chat and inquiries can take up to days sometimes.

    In addition, you can also check WebHostingTalk for other dedicated servers. Just make sure you do enough research there and to ask your fellow ScT'er if they have any information/experience with that company.

    If you're really really REALLY short on cash but for some reason would still like to get a seedbox, get one of these VPS:

    * LeeWare
    * Hosting-IE
    * FDC
    * LayerShift

    Add OVH to that list if you can get them, seriously outstanding (as at today).
