Use nero to burn directly to disk. I have an XviD player

mbucari1, it makes sense why people use Nero now that you bring up the fact some DVD players support DIVX or XviD. I didnt even think of that possibility since I have an old DVD player.

I just burn data files to my dvd and play on my softmodded xbox. In that case I use ImgBurn data dvd

    Or just stream it over

Click for more activation options, then activate by telephone. Run the keygen.
if I call them, aren't they going to get me? (you know, down there)

Yeah, the quality is much worse after re-encoding. Also, it takes close to 40 minutes to do 1 movie with convertxtodvd. I think it's worth the money (~$50) not to have to wait 30+ minutes to watch your movie. That's longer than it took to download

ConvertXtoDVD is the way to go because it has way more options than just watching the xvid file on your TV. It allows multiple audio streams, subtitles and you can even put multiple avis together onto one disk. Also the quality does not change that much.

I use CyberLink PowerProducer 3.7 to convert them to DVD files (.vobs etc) & burn. I love that it supports widescreen.

+1 for convertxtodvd - if I want to make a menu and stuff.

and... for burning, i've recently been converted from nero to ImgBurn. It's pretty sexy.
