Need to install antivirus on an old comp running Windows 98. Anyone have any experience in this matter? I use NOD32 for Windows XP but can't find a cracked version for 98.

What should be the best option which is either free or has a crack available?

Unless you can find a crack,AVG,Avast and BitDefender have free editions for Win98.
Of those I would go with AVG but BitDefender is okay too.Don't like Avast

    I'd recommend Avast.

^^^ Lol ... thats true. Won't even dream of installing Symantec on an old machine running Win98. Guess I'll go for AVG or Avast. Thanks for the recommendations. Wish there was a NOD32 crack for 98.

As already stated I think avast > http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_professional.html is the best bet for windows 98 and it won't be hard to find a cracked version either
