Yep, invites are not currently being given out but it is possible the person was assuming invites would be re-enabled soon and thinking of giving you an invite after getting 200gb uploaded...however I personally detest trading/selling invites in any way. That is a big reason why FTN currently has invites disabled. Invites should only be freely given to people you know and trust IMHO.

I dont trade either, but he saw my request for SCT and saw i had a seedbox, and said if he can use my seedbox to go upto 200gb uploaded, he will let me have an invite, im not sure now though.

Yeah.. They aren't disabled, The staff can handle them. They just don't give them.
Just gives you another reason not to trade. It's kind of hard to get scammed if you don't trade.

Staff only can invite people and I suppose a select few can request invites from staff (to be approved of course).
