The Verizon News Server's URL is news.verizon.net. It also requires
you to authenticate to it by providing your VZ username and password.

theres a little thing called Google, try it out some time

Yah I kno that but I cant figure out what the username and password are. is it the username that you use to login to your router or is it something completely different?

it should be the same username and password you use for your email
VZ would have given you these when you signed up with them.
I not sure but its probable the same as your router username and password as well.
just try them out your not going to brake your newsreader if details are wrong
your just get a message that its unable to connect.

By what standards, lad? Their retention is like a week or less. However, their
    speeds are not bad.

Anyone use http://services.triton.net/keyword/newsgroups $8.95/mth seems like a very good deal. Also http://www.usenet-access.com/ ($6/mth with 2GB/Day). Any opinions?
