Thread: Windows Taskbar

    Could someone please tell me how the hell i put the windows taskbar at the top of my screen?, i have unlocked the taskbar, tried dragging it and everything and it just wont go to the top of the screen.

    as long as its unlocked you should just be able to drag it to the top. wot windows you running?

    Right-click the taskbar, uncheck "Lock The Taskbar". Move it.

    im running win xp pro, the taskbar is unlocked and it wont drag to the top.

    The only thing I can say is that maybe you're clicking the edge to resize it rather than clicking the middle to drag?!

    yeh i a little baffled to... silly ? but are you using the left button to drag it to top?

    LOL.............I bet he was using the right mouse button.........Some times problems are so simple we look past the easy solution.......Good catch!

    ok iv fixed it after about half an hour of dragging i finally picked it up and moved it, thanks for your help everyone.

    You have to have all of your windows minimized, you must be dragging it onto the desktop.
