    just got a seedbox. it has fedora 7 with utorrent webui. How do i make a torrent file?
    Looking For ScT Invite
    IF anyone has an extra 1 I would really appreciate it

    i guess You can create the actual torrent either through the command line with CreateTorrent, or through a graphical user interface (GUI) with MakeTorrent.

    i guess its easier to just download the files to my computer and make the torrent there

    Hey. Use VNC to log in and use the main utorrent window to make it. Much easier and faster then downloading it then uploading it.

    I couldn't get createtorrent running, but I'm a linux n00b.
    I tried doing it on my home computer, but it apparently loses a KB here or there and that messed me up each time I've tried.

    uTorrent can't create torrents in wine?

    create the torrent on your home computer
    upload to rapidshare or w/e
    download on your server

    Install bittorrent package, and you can then use the "btmakemetafile" command
    You can also use either kTorrent or Azureus to make a torrent if you really prefer a GUI...
