release is scheduled on sunday so i'm quite surprise to see it not available at this time

why not just get the PAL version. My Wii isnt modded so i know very little about regions and stuff regarding the Wii, but this is a comment on the PAL Version

So it does work on an NTSC Wii even if it needs a little tweaking.

actually there are a lot that says it works fine on NTSC Wii`s, only 1 or 2 say they cant get it to work.

some pal wii games like mario strickers versions can screw up your ntsc wii firmware because they start an automatic firmware update on the console, looks like this game doesn't upgrade anything

well i would still advise you to read the comments because i know nothing about the Wii, apart from mine is just a paperweight, and i do not want to be responsible if you brick your Wii lol there are over 350 comments to get through though.

Seeing the preview for Mario Kart made me want a Wii. I sorta want to "borrow" it from my cousin who works way too many hours and is way too old to play.

yeah, thx stoi, i read that i must patch the pal iso with wiibrickblocker to avoid the firmware being update and screw the ntsc console

mario kart is a classic, i still plays all the older versions with friends, but now i will be able to play it online which is cool too
