Wierd Folder Situation in WinXPSP2

Since a recent time (about a week or so ago), my windows changed the way the folder looks on top, without asking me

It's annoying especially because it doesn't help them being in this way.

do you mean that the address bar is sort-of gone? the toolbars at the top look like they just got drug onto the same line. you can drag them around back to the position you want. if they're locked you'll have to right-click and uncheck 'lock the toolbars.'
