I also think this has nothing to do with movies and TV since the term celebrity could be applied to musicians,athletes,politicians,etc.

To some extent you are right.
But in this case the thread is posted in
movies and TV section, this means that the thread
deals only with celebrity of movies and TV and nothing else.

I think putting both No. and # is redundant or something.

I think using coloured lettering for normal posting is annoying as hell.

The # 1 Hot Celebrity or The Number 1 Hot Celebrity
