need help with this.
i use windows, have my crap all set up... but i need to set it up on my friends mac. what i need to know is what is the best FREE usenet app for mac, and if i need to configure his computer in some other way i would in windows. (as in opening ports, or any kinda network config macs would have for it to run properly.)
btw, i got all the login/pass info for usenet.

The best reader for Mac is Unison imo. It's not free, but it's not hard to get either.
Other free readers with good reviews are: Newswatcher and iGrabNews (I haven't used them though).
You don't have to do anything special (at least with Unison), just add it to the apps folder, enter the NSP info and you're done.
This is just like that drug trip I saw in that movie while I was on that drug trip.
