How do you shot a screenshot in a post to show your ration and speed test when asked

press the printscreen button, and paste into a graphics editor.

Take a screenshot, using the Prt Scrn-button, start up some graphics editor. MS paint will do in a pinch. Paste.

Preferably you should select the relevant bits and copy those into a new image (or just crop it, if you can), so you don't have a huge pic with lots of unnecessary stuff.

Upload the picture somewhere. http://imageshack.us/ will do nicely.

Then copy the direct address to the image.

Then wrap that url in [img]-tags to put it in a post, or your signature.

[img]url to image goes here[/img]

[img]http://imagegen.last.fm/blackred/rec...cks/6/SnnY.gif[/img] becomes for example.

Or you can mix it up even more and have one version of the image to link to a bigger one or something, like:

[URL="http://www.google.com/logos/sweden08_res.gif"][IMG]http://www.google.com/logos/sweden08_res.gif[/IMG][/URL]

Which becomes:

[ukgenius]

I don't think Snee's help was that patronising. Bearing in mind that i had no idea what to do i thought his help was really useful. You only found it partonising because you knew what to do. And yeah i agree this should be made a sticky
