    Would anyone know where i can get GPS navigation software with maps for Australia to use on my laptop,Windows xp thanks.

    You will need an external gps receiver. Maps are available everywhere. Even google.

    That's no problem i have a GPS which has the plug to connect into a serial port on the laptop.

    I managed to find a program called Fugawi Global Navigator,but i need the map for Australia.Or any other GPS software with Australian maps.

    Igo v8 apparently has a PC companion for the portable versions but I've only seen a German release in the wild.
    TomTom have their TomTom Home PC software but that appears to be just for updating and installing features on their portable versions.
    There isn't a bargepole long enough for me to work on [a Sony Viao] - clocker 2008

    Still looking for any good GPS Navigation software with Maps of Australia for my laptop with the plug coming out of my GPS plugged in.

    There is a iGo8 for PC, put a search on Google. I did not see any maps of Australia, but a search may do wonders.
