Ok, at the moment, I have Verison AOL Brodband DSL. In this whole forum, i've seen tons of people talking shit about aol, and I would like to know why, and what would be better for a DSL service. Would MSN be better? (just to help you out, i live in northeast USA)

the #1 problem with AOL is the software that is put on your computer. It causes alot of problems....

Ok WTF? You already have verizon dsl (FAST BROADBAND) I'm guessing you pay 30-40 dollars for dsl? and now YOU ALREADY HAVE AN ISP and you still pay 25 dollars each month to ANOTHER lame ass internet service provider? Dude if you really want to waste 25 dollars a month give me the money. AOL sucks period. (Literally)

Portland? Seattle? Is Shaw still active in Portland? Ther must be a bunch of choices in Seattle and even Bellingham that would be better than what you have now.
