Brand New OVH Server

My friend has just purchased an OVH server he was going to use for his site, what ever that is

Anyways, he has had some family problems and I gave him £20 for it. Bargin, really.

No idea how to set up a seedbox really, so I would like some help if anyone is willing to help!

Ther server itself is KIMSUFI 2008 XL running Plesk 8.0 (FC4) operating system.

I would like to get utorrent running, with access to a ftp to download/remote the files to other places.

So if anyone can help, please let me know!

you gave him £20 for it, how long do you have it for? the month?
best option for OVH, is to open OVH-manager on ovh.co.uk and reinstall your server with windows server edition, then set it up from there =) and then install a FTP server

Yep, install Windows 2003 on it. The licence will be free since you'll have the server for one month.

Windows 2003/2008 servers are free to start, but then cost more after 2 months, since you have to pay the license.

If you aren't familiar with Linux at all, I suggest reinstalling a Windows 2003 OS.

what about licence free

i paid for one month and install windows 2003 os but after install completed i wanna connect with remote desktop it ask me for a key ... (at dedimove)
kareemamir you need a guide you can find at FST search for this .set up is easiy and you can do it with you ovh console .(you should log in ovh web site with your member details )
