i use acid pro (music maker) and choose extract audio from pc. that way i have 2 great feature in one, music creattion and cd ripping.
i use Musicmatch. i like the interface, ease of use and quality of output
CDEX
free and easy to use.
also connects to internet database to fill out details for you.
I use Easy CD-DA Extractor as well
I use EAC and I have to say that It is my favorite using it wthe Lame as your encoder and setting it up as in the pinned topic in music world describes
will give you the best possible mp3. Using a cofiguration file that many music
loving audiophiles spent years tweaking to find the perfect settings for
EAC and Lame to rip aCD and encode and mp3.
But it's all subjective.........Unless your sharing your files on Ubernet I think most
users will be perfectly happy with most of the popular programs for ripping
just making sure you use Lame as the encoder,at least @192kbps or VBS(varible bit rate),you might want to stick with a constant bit rate instead of a varible bit rate
for those you want to play there cd-r's on a variety of audio equipment.
Keep in mind another good reason to use EAC is because I said so!
Peace brotherdoobie
