I was watching the Carry On stuff last night on BBC2...bit depressing actually . Anyway, it got me thinking about the nature of homophobia and how men who are tend to get upset about men being homo and not women.
I reckon it's because some men see sex as something a man does to a person for their gratification rather than mutual enjoyment (possibly a power thing?). So, when they come up against a man who likes having sex with other men they feel immediately threatened because it implies they as a man are no longer in a position of power, and they feel emasculated. So, anyone who is homophobic or even 'uncomfortable with gays' must also be shit in bed, sexist, and have an inferiority complex.
Am I right or am I right?
