MN lives in an incredibly large grove of, um, potential firewood.

Nah, it's real firewood. The fire's doubled in size since last I posted, so..yah. It's highly unlikely you've been through it balaam; it's about an hour from Kelowna.

What's going on, FC, is a very large, very out-of-control fire burning in very close proximity to my dwelling of choice. The wind's blowing it straight into the poor little village.

things are quiet until hitler decides he'd like to invade russia
    so, he does
the russians are like "OMG WTF D00DZ, STOP TKING"
and the germans are still like "omg ph34r n00bz"
the russians fall back, all the way to moscow
and then they all begin h4xing, which brings on the russian winter
the germans are like "wtf, h4x"

well, I've walked through Kelowna, kamloops, vernon, naramata, penticton, Enderby? I think it is, all the way down to princeton. I'd still bet I've passed through.

    That can be easily arranged....

Seriously though, hope you manage to escape unsinged.

I like living in the boonies too - though it does have it's drawbacks.
