lol. you realize the craze about OVH as a seedbox provider started around mid-2007? they've been in business since 1999. in the big picture, losing people who only use them for seedboxes is no big deal to their business plan.

I do not believe that they will block torrents.
I don't think it's their fault, after all, they just inspect your server if some higher authority complains. They got sick and tired of getting tons of complaints so decided to stop catering to torrenters. Even if all seedbox users got off OVH, they might make a loss, but all the spare bandwidth means they get lower expenses, and by the looks of it, probably 20% - 40% of their bandiwdth would be torrenting in my guess, but tons of it would be sent between their own servers.
As it's been said before, bandwidth is expensive, 1000 Euros for 24/7 100Mbps I think, and OVH will be making more profit if seedboxes didn't exist anyways. They still have TONS of legit customers...
Personally, I hope nothing happens since I do use an OVH server, I would just stay away from public trackers even more and use it abit less, no difference between a ratio of 8 and a ratio of 6
You think they're going to turn this outrageous sort of business down? It's empty rhetoric to satisfy the anti-piracy goons.
Some reseller already got all 25+ of his servers disabled for one torrent file found on one server. They lose money on seedboxes, they don't make it, so I think you'll see the end of the OVH fanboys glory days.
I seeing now a lot of OVH seeding in several trackers.
its all just talk .. dont think they gonna close all bt users .. maybe some .. to show their "anti-piracy" new policy LOL ))
Maybe only users who use torrents on TorrentLeech (nearly public now).
they didn't built Rome in one day
nothing has happened to me.
i like skittles.
