Ftp Question

I know this is stupid but i never downloaded from an privite FTP so i was woundering how to download from them.

have you an app like smart ftp?
if so, input the ip address of the target machine into the address bar and enter the user/pass if necessary. if no user/pass is needed, check the anon box.

then just hit enter and you'll find all the shared files there

right click on any files/folders for options to download

edit: this is me downloading from myself, using smartftp as the reader and bulletftp as the ftp server app...

Thats what i thoght i am in the middle of downloadinh FTP Voyager. If that dosent work i will go with what you have. Thanks for the help.

But with the ftp wont connect when i use th ftp client.

do you need a login for this address?
if you need a username and pass you're not gonna get in without one
if you don't, are you trying to login as anonymous

I am getting smart ftp mabey thats better. Could you try with SmartFTP so i dont waste my time downloading it.
