Heard 'I wish' by Skee-Lo on the radio today and it started off a download cascade . Have now got that and Express Yourself and People Everyday on the 'ol MP3 for the walk to work tomorrow.

So is Ice Cube any less grumpy these days?

    Not really.

He had a couple rants at the show I went to. Saying things about the movies he's beenin and not to think he's "soft". They're just movies, he's just getting paid, etc...

Surprisingly, he did talk for several minutes about the horrors of record companies, the internet was the future of music, keep informed, etc...

It was a great show... good performer, indeed.

I think it would be worse if he got older and never softened a little. You can't become rich and successful and still try to wax lyrical about how tough you are. There lays the road to fiddy cent levels of cuntdom.
