I'm sure they wouldn't care when they lost half their userbase when they were too slow to patch a bug that exposes the user's computer to attack. They are a legit corporation now, it's their job to keep making utorrent.

It's just a matter of time until what I said happens and everyone goes running to Vuze (azures).

and from your last words i can see that u are pretty much some funboy of azureus aka Vuze which no once cares for long time..

this isnt the thread abouth how u feeling right now since utorrent 1.8 is out it just to inform people to get one...

I've used utorrent forever. That was the point of the post, if the staff get lazy (aka, releasing patches late), then people will end up going to Vuze, the biggest piece of trash ever.

i think utorrent is the way to go as always because it uses very little memory and i dont know how they do it but simple is always the best and it doesnt get any more simpler then utorrent.

Edit: Can you guys help and list the sites that you are using utorrent 1.8 that would be a great help.

azureus isn't really the first alternative client that hits my mind if i were to change from utorrent. i'd probably go with deluge before crappy azureus

I've already switched to Halite. Almost every tracker accepts it, it's more lightweight than uTorrent, and it's open source. Plus the interface is very uTorrent'ish. So it's not really that hard of a transition.
