I recently upgraded to the latest build of uTorrent, after it randomly crashed (first time ever), and then magically appeared with an update notice as soon as I ran it again.

Can't really notice any differences performance-wise, design is a bit different, tray icon has changed of course. I haven't read the changelog or done anything except download and seed a torrent on it yet, so if you're just an average torrenter who just does the basics, I wouldn't feel pressured to upgrade, unless trackers start disallowing the previous uTorrent.

they didn't built Rome in one day

Thanks for that m8, I think I'll just wait and see.

As far as I'm concerned the only reason to upgrade would be if trackers started to ban the old client, I dont really miss any functionality in the 1.7.7 build.

as usually probably some one them will ban 1.7.7, and some of them, at least one, wont allow 1.8

Its great, excellent torrent client as always. I dislike the new RSS view though, but doesnt matter.

^This is one of many very nice tray icons I found...
Just put it in %appdata%\uTorrent, and name it tray.ico and/or main.ico
Thanks for this, it looks great with Vista.

Eventually, a person who wears two faces forgets which one is real.
