I'm new to opera and I was just wondering why the verified links don't work with it? Which is annoying because sometimes you are only given one that you have to click on, and not the rest of the hash.

opera has a lot more security built in than IE and some other browsers, one thing it doesn't allow is unknown protocols. sig2dat falls into this category unless u add it to the list of known and trusted protocols.
    Info on doing this here
(if ur running opera 7 the file u have to edit is called OperaDef6.ini not opera6.ini)

    This will fix the problem.

How to use K-Sig with Opera?
Start Opera. Click on Help, and then About. Scroll down to the Paths section, and look for Preferences. Next to that you will find the location of opera6.ini.
Now using the location found above, open the file opera6.ini. under the section [User Prefs], add a new line that reads TrustedExternalURLProtocols=sig2dat. Save the file and restart Opera. You should now be able to use QuickLinks in opera.
