I never see the slow down but it may because I use a Slipstream disk with Black Viper and other tweaks like Evillords open connections.

Funny as you can have three neighbours all using different IPS with different speed issues trying to solve the problem . Much appreciated Zed , this is a good start .

Gosh, I had that same problem with NOD32 and found that same solution a time ago but always thought that I was the only one that didn't know about that =/
